Garment Description

Natural Cotton beige folklore mini dress with corset lace-up back and softly flared hem

Our Beige Hooded Dress with Pockets brings together natural texture, flattering structure and a subtle sense of folklore. Made from breathable natural cotton in a soft earthy beige, this easy-to-wear dress is designed for those drawn to folk styles, heritage-inspired details and clothing that feels distinctive with slow fashion values.

The fitted bodice is shaped with contrasting side panels to define the waist, while the corset lace-up back allows the fit to be gently adjusted. A lace-up detail at the front neckline adds another handcrafted touch, giving this natural cotton beige folklore mini dress an old-world character that remains practical for everyday wear.

The softly flared hem creates movement and a feminine silhouette, with a slightly longer shape at the back. Generous curved pockets sit naturally at the sides, adding function without interrupting the clean lines of the dress.

The attached hood can be worn up for a more dramatic woodland look or left resting across the shoulders for relaxed styling. Lightweight and versatile, this hooded cotton dress can be worn alone through warmer months or layered with tights, boots and knitwear as the seasons turn.

Earthy, comfortable and full of considered detail, it is a memorable piece for everyday adventures, festivals, countryside walks and folklore-inspired styling.

Fabric and Textiles

🧷 We source all fabrics personally and seek the highest quality traditional style fabrics possible. We do our best to source the most natural, hand spun and traditionally woven textiles. Care Instructions: Hand wash or machine wash at a handwash or delicate setting in cool water, wash with similar colours and line dry out of direct sunlight.

🧵This has been designed by the designer and founder of Celtic Fusion; Regina Tierney. Her inspiration comes from her home place in County Clare in the West of Ireland where the Celtic Fusion Studio is based. Celtic Fusion was designed to create a connection to nature through unique clothing. The designs are inspired by Celtic spirituality and ancient paganism - beliefs centered around the natural world and the cycle of life. So, naturally, sustainability and ethics are a top priority in the construction of the clothing you purchase. We hope to create a new standard for the impact of fashion with our choice of fabrics, construction processes, and positive work practices. Our production would not be possible without our skilled team in India where Irish designer Regina Tierney works for 3 months of each year over-seeing our entire work process and production in every element to create our ethical designs.

Design Inspiration

🍀 Designed in the heart of the West of Ireland, our collection is inspired by Celtic spirit and folk culture, celebrating a deep connection to the natural world and the eternal cycle of life. Our unique Celtic clothing brings together folklore-inspired designs and craftsmanship, offering pieces that reflect the rich heritage of Ireland.

Embrace the magic of nature with our range of pagan clothing, thoughtfully created for those who resonate with the spirit of Celtic tradition. Whether you're drawn to folklore style or seeking Irish designer wear, Celtic Fusion invites you to express your individuality and reconnect with the earth through every stitch and seam.

Cotton Slub and Handwoven Cotton Care Instructions

Our cotton fabrics are natural, breathable with a soft textured finish. Machine wash gently at 20°C or hand wash in cool water using a mild / natural detergent. Wash with similar colours and reshape while damp. Hang or lay flat to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry, as this may cause shrinkage and wear to the fibres. Line dry only out of direct sunlight. Iron on a medium setting.
