Boys Tree of Life Tweed Waistcoat

The Boys Tree of Life Tweed Waistcoat is a classic heritage-inspired layer designed with Celtic detail and an earthy country feel. Made from 70% wool, 30% polyester tweed blend, the brown woven fabric gives the waistcoat a traditional look while remaining practical and comfortable for children to wear.

The front has a smart V-neck shape, button fastening and two neat welt pockets, while the back features an adjustable strap so the fit can be refined as needed. A detailed Tree of Life embroidery decorates the upper back, adding a distinctive Celtic element to an otherwise timeless boys tweed waistcoat.

In Celtic spirituality the tree of life symbolises that all living things have spirit. Trees in particular are a source of great wisdom with the power to bridge the gap between the upper and lower worlds. It also symbolises strength. The Celtic Tree of life symbolises harmony and balance and is a reminder of how all things in existence are interlinked and mutually supportive.

🧵 This has been designed by the designer and founder of Celtic Fusion; Regina Tierney. Her inspiration comes from her home place in County Clare in the West of Ireland where the Celtic Fusion Studio is based. Celtic Fusion was designed to create a connection to nature through unique clothing. The designs are inspired by Celtic spirituality and ancient paganism - beliefs centered around the natural world and the cycle of life. So, naturally, sustainability and ethics are a top priority in the construction of the clothing you purchase. We hope to create a new standard for the impact of fashion with our choice of fabrics, construction processes, and positive work practices. Our production would not be possible without our skilled team in India where Irish designer Regina Tierney works for 3 months of each year over-seeing our entire work process and production in every element to create our ethical designs.

Tweed Wool Care Instructions

If washing at home, hand wash only in cool water with a gentle wool or delicate detergent. Handle with care and avoid rubbing, wringing, or twisting, as this may cause shrinkage or misshaping. Rinse in cool water, gently squeeze out excess moisture, reshape while damp, and air dry flat away from direct heat. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
