Garment Description

Olive Green Folklore Wrap Top with Celtic Embroidered Bell Sleeves

The Elva Celtic Wrap Crop Top blends earthy texture, a flattering crossover shape and intricate Celtic-inspired detail. Made in a rich olive green, this folklore wrap top brings character to everyday outfits while remaining comfortable, adjustable and easy to style.

The crossover front creates a softly shaped V-neckline and wraps around the waist for a close, flattering fit. The long ties can be fastened at the side or wrapped around and tied at the back, allowing you to adjust the shape and create different styling options.

Its cropped length sits neatly at the natural waist, making this olive green wrap top especially easy to pair with high-waisted skirts, trousers and layered dresses.

Long sleeves finish in gently flared bell cuffs, each decorated with contrasting Celtic knotwork embroidery and soft fringe detail. Inspired by the interwoven patterns found throughout Celtic art, the embroidery gives the top a distinctive handcrafted finish.

With its naturally textured fabric and relaxed sleeves, this folklore-inspired crop top for women can be worn as a light cardigan over a vest or fitted top, or styled on its own as a crossover blouse. The adjustable waist creates definition while still allowing comfortable movement.

Fabric and Textiles

🧷 We source all fabrics personally and seek the highest quality traditional style fabrics possible. We do our best to source the most natural, hand spun and traditionally woven textiles. Care Instructions: Hand wash or machine wash at a handwash or delicate setting in cool water, wash with similar colours and line dry out of direct sunlight.

🧵This has been designed by the designer and founder of Celtic Fusion; Regina Tierney. Her inspiration comes from her home place in County Clare in the West of Ireland where the Celtic Fusion Studio is based. Celtic Fusion was designed to create a connection to nature through unique clothing. The designs are inspired by Celtic spirituality and ancient paganism - beliefs centered around the natural world and the cycle of life. So, naturally, sustainability and ethics are a top priority in the construction of the clothing you purchase. We hope to create a new standard for the impact of fashion with our choice of fabrics, construction processes, and positive work practices. Our production would not be possible without our skilled team in India where Irish designer Regina Tierney works for 3 months of each year over-seeing our entire work process and production in every element to create our ethical designs.

Design Inspiration

🍀 Celtic knotwork is always cyclical and never-ending. In this way, we have chosen to use Celtic knotwork in our designs as a symbol for the endurance of the ancient culture where they originated. Through our designs, we hope to help continue the ideas that Celtic culture symbolises. Using knotwork not only helps to keep that ancient form of art alive, but also continues the never-ending cycle of inspiration.

Care Instruction

Cotton Slub and Handwoven Cotton Care Instructions

Our cotton fabrics are natural, breathable with a soft textured finish. Machine wash gently at 20°C or hand wash in cool water using a mild / natural detergent. Wash with similar colours and reshape while damp. Hang or lay flat to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry, as this may cause shrinkage and wear to the fibres. Line dry only out of direct sunlight. Iron on a medium setting.
