Jewellery Description

Celtic Jewellery, Celtic Knotwork Designs

This Celtic Knot Necklace and Bracelet Set is a handcrafted collection, intricately woven from brass, a blend of copper and zinc, ensuring it is nickel-free and safe for sensitive skin. Designed with a classic Celtic knotwork pattern, this set embodies strength, eternity, and interconnectedness, making it both a statement of heritage and a symbol of tradition.

The Meaning of the Celtic Knotwork
The Celtic knot is an ancient design with no beginning or end, representing eternal cycles, unity, and spiritual connection. Worn by warriors, druids, and nobility in the past, knotwork jewellery reflects Celtic values of strength, resilience, and harmony with nature.

What is a Torc?
The Celtic torc was a significant piece of jewellery in ancient Celtic culture, worn as a mark of status, power, and honour. From 1200 BC to 600 AD, these luxurious pieces were worn at the most sacred ceremonies and special events, signifying leadership and strength.

Design Inspiration

☘️ This has been designed by the designer and founder of Celtic Fusion; Regina Tierney. Her inspiration comes from her home place in County Clare in the West of Ireland where the Celtic Fusion Studio is based. Celtic Fusion was designed to create a connection to nature through unique clothing. The designs are inspired by Celtic spirituality and ancient paganism - beliefs centered around the natural world and the cycle of life. So, naturally, sustainability and ethics are a top priority in the construction of the clothing you purchase. We hope to create a new standard for the impact of fashion with our choice of fabrics, construction processes, and positive work practices. Our production would not be possible without our skilled team in India where Irish designer Regina Tierney works for 3 months of each year over-seeing our entire work process and production in every element to create our ethical designs.

Care Instruction

📌 If you would like to brighten the brooch over time, it can be gently polished with a soft jewellery cloth.
