Our Light Celtic Maxi Dress is an elegant full-length design inspired by folklore style, natural textures, and old-world craftsmanship. Made in a soft light neutral tone, this flowing dress has a calm, ethereal feel that makes it especially beautiful for summer wear, heritage styling, gatherings, photoshoots, and alternative bridal-inspired looks.

A vertical panel of Celtic knotwork embroidery runs down the centre front, creating a strong focal point while adding depth, symbolism, and a distinctly Celtic character. Soft fringe edging frames the embroidered panel and hem, bringing movement and subtle texture to the design. The long silhouette keeps the shape simple and graceful, making it easy to wear while still feeling striking and memorable.

🧷 We source all fabrics personally and seek the highest quality traditional style fabrics possible. We do our best to source the most natural, hand spun and traditionally woven textiles. Care Instructions: Hand wash or machine wash at a handwash or delicate setting in cool water, wash with similar colours and line dry out of direct sunlight.

🧵This has been designed by the designer and founder of Celtic Fusion; Regina Tierney. Her inspiration comes from her home place in County Clare in the West of Ireland where the Celtic Fusion Studio is based. Celtic Fusion was designed to create a connection to nature through unique clothing. The designs are inspired by Celtic spirituality and ancient paganism - beliefs centered around the natural world and the cycle of life. So, naturally, sustainability and ethics are a top priority in the construction of the clothing you purchase. We hope to create a new standard for the impact of fashion with our choice of fabrics, construction processes, and positive work practices. Our production would not be possible without our skilled team in India where Irish designer Regina Tierney works for 3 months of each year over-seeing our entire work process and production in every element to create our ethical designs.

🍀 Celtic knotwork is always cyclical and never-ending. In this way, we have chosen to use Celtic knotwork in our designs as a symbol for the endurance of the ancient culture where they originated. Through our designs, we hope to help continue the ideas that Celtic culture symbolises. Using knotwork not only helps to keep that ancient form of art alive, but also continues the never-ending cycle of inspiration.

Cotton Slub and Handwoven Cotton Care Instructions

Our cotton fabrics are natural, breathable with a soft textured finish. Machine wash gently at 20°C or hand wash in cool water using a mild / natural detergent. Wash with similar colours and reshape while damp. Hang or lay flat to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry, as this may cause shrinkage and wear to the fibres. Line dry only out of direct sunlight. Iron on a medium setting.
