Folklore Hooded Wool Cloak

The Folklore Hooded Wool Cloak is a warm, full-length outer layer designed with a flowing silhouette and an old-world feel. Made from a substantial felted wool blend, this women’s long wool cloak has a beautifully structured drape while still allowing plenty of movement for layering through the colder months.

Its generous hood creates a distinctive folklore inspired shape, while the sleeveless cape design allows the arms to move freely through the side openings. This makes it easy to wear over dresses, knitwear and layered outfits without the restriction of fitted sleeves.

Two practical pockets add everyday functionality, while the fully lined interior provides extra comfort and warmth. The long maxi length gives the cloak a dramatic, elegant finish.

Her inspiration comes from her home place in County Clare in the West of Ireland where the Celtic Fusion Studio is based. Celtic Fusion was designed to create a connection to nature through unique clothing. The designs are inspired by Celtic spirituality and ancient paganism - beliefs centered around the natural world and the cycle of life. So, naturally, sustainability and ethics are a top priority in the construction of the clothing you purchase. We hope to create a new standard for the impact of fashion with our choice of fabrics, construction processes, and positive work practices. Our production would not be possible without our skilled team in India where Irish designer Regina Tierney works for 3 months of each year over-seeing our entire work process and production in every element to create our ethical designs.

Heavy Felt Wool Polyester Coats and Capes Care Instructions

Our heavy felt wool blend coats and capes should be treated as outerwear pieces and are best cleaned only when necessary. Spot clean gently for small marks using a damp cloth. For a full clean, professional dry clean only. Do not machine wash, soak, or tumble dry as this may distort the shape and texture of the fabric. Hang on a strong hanger to help the garment keep its structure, and store in a cool, dry place. Steam lightly or Iron on a low heat if needed.
