Garment Description

Natural cotton folklore dress with pockets, hood, lace-up neckline, adjustable back corset, and a flowing dipped hem

Our Slate Blue Hooded Corset Dress is designed for those drawn to earthy colour, natural fabrics and clothing with a subtle folklore influence. Made from breathable natural cotton in a muted slate blue shade, this distinctive dress balances a fitted silhouette with soft movement and practical everyday details.

The bodice is shaped through the waist and finished with an adjustable corset lace-up back, allowing you to refine the fit to suit your shape. A coordinating lace-up neckline adds texture and character at the front, while the attached hood brings a relaxed woodland-inspired finish.

Deep curved pockets are worked into the sides for comfort and practicality. The skirt falls into a softly flared dipped hem, creating a graceful high-low shape that moves beautifully as you walk and gives the dress an expressive, feminine line.

Wear it with boots and tights for festivals, woodland walks and layered autumn styling, or keep the look simple with sandals during warmer weather. The muted slate blue colour makes it easy to pair with black, charcoal, cream and other natural tones.

Fabric and Textiles

🧷 We source all fabrics personally and seek the highest quality traditional style fabrics possible. We do our best to source the most natural, hand spun and traditionally woven textiles. Care Instructions: Hand wash or machine wash at a handwash or delicate setting in cool water, wash with similar colours and line dry out of direct sunlight.

🧵This has been designed by the designer and founder of Celtic Fusion; Regina Tierney. Her inspiration comes from her home place in County Clare in the West of Ireland where the Celtic Fusion Studio is based. Celtic Fusion was designed to create a connection to nature through unique clothing. The designs are inspired by Celtic spirituality and ancient paganism - beliefs centered around the natural world and the cycle of life. So, naturally, sustainability and ethics are a top priority in the construction of the clothing you purchase. We hope to create a new standard for the impact of fashion with our choice of fabrics, construction processes, and positive work practices. Our production would not be possible without our skilled team in India where Irish designer Regina Tierney works for 3 months of each year over-seeing our entire work process and production in every element to create our ethical designs.

Care Instruction

Cotton Slub and Handwoven Cotton Care Instructions

Our cotton fabrics are natural, breathable with a soft textured finish. Machine wash gently at 20°C or hand wash in cool water using a mild / natural detergent. Wash with similar colours and reshape while damp. Hang or lay flat to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry, as this may cause shrinkage and wear to the fibres. Line dry only out of direct sunlight. Iron on a medium setting.
