The History of the Celtic Torc

The torc necklace (from the Latin torquis, meaning "to twist") was a signature item of Celtic warriors, druids, and nobility, worn from as early as 1200 BC. Often made of bronze, gold, or iron, it symbolised leadership, status, and a sacred bond with nature. This brass torc continues that tradition, offering a wearable connection to Ireland’s ancient past.
