🍀 The ancient Celtic Shield knot symbol with four corners was known for strength and protection often used in the design of warrior shields or a design placed outside the home or holy place to ward off enemies and evil spirits and protect the people and their homes. The endlessness of this symbols design may also have symbolised the never-ending cycle of birth, life, death, and rebirth.

🧷 Wij kopen alle stoffen persoonlijk in en zoeken de hoogste kwaliteit traditionele stoffen die mogelijk zijn. We doen ons best om de meest natuurlijke, handgesponnen en traditioneel geweven textiel te vinden. Wasvoorschrift: Handwas of machinewas op een handwas- of delicaat programma in koud water, wassen met vergelijkbare kleuren en aan de lijn drogen buiten direct zonlicht.

🧵 Dit is ontworpen door de ontwerper en oprichter van Celtic Fusion; Regina Tierney. Haar inspiratie komt van haar geboorteplaats in County Clare in het westen van Ierland, waar de Celtic Fusion Studio is gevestigd. Celtic Fusion is ontworpen om een verbinding met de natuur te creëren door middel van unieke kleding. De ontwerpen zijn geïnspireerd op Keltische spiritualiteit en het oude paganisme - overtuigingen die gericht zijn op de natuurlijke wereld en de cyclus van het leven. Duurzaamheid en ethiek zijn dus vanzelfsprekend een topprioriteit bij de vervaardiging van de kleding die je koopt. We hopen een nieuwe standaard te creëren voor de impact van mode met onze keuze van stoffen, fabricageprocessen en positieve werkmethoden. Onze productie zou niet mogelijk zijn zonder ons bekwame team in India, waar de Ierse ontwerper Regina Tierney elk jaar 3 maanden werkt om ons hele werkproces en de productie in elk element te overzien om onze ethische ontwerpen te creëren.

Wat is katoenen slubstof?
Katoenen slub is een middelzwaar katoen dat een dikke, duurzame weefsel heeft en zowel sterkte als verfijning belooft. Elk stuk straalt een ouderwetse charme uit die doet denken aan rustiek linnen, waardoor het een uitstekende keuze is voor degenen die natuurlijke textiel met premium kwaliteit waarderen. 🍀 Het oude Keltische schildknoopsymbool met vier hoeken stond bekend om kracht en bescherming en werd vaak gebruikt in het ontwerp van krijgerschilden of een ontwerp dat buiten het huis of de heilige plaats werd geplaatst om vijanden en boze geesten af te weren en de mensen en hun huizen te beschermen. De oneindigheid van het ontwerp van dit symbool kan ook de oneindige cyclus van geboorte, leven, dood en wedergeboorte hebben gesymboliseerd.

Cotton Slub and Handwoven Cotton Care Instructions

Our cotton fabrics are natural, breathable with a soft textured finish. Machine wash gently at 20°C or hand wash in cool water using a mild / natural detergent. Wash with similar colours and reshape while damp. Hang or lay flat to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry, as this may cause shrinkage and wear to the fibres. Line dry only out of direct sunlight. Iron on a medium setting.
