Descripción de la prenda

A comfortable boys Celtic shirt designed with a simple folk-inspired shape and details drawn from Irish heritage. Available in earthy green and deep navy blue, this boys medieval shirt features an embroidered triskele motif at the chest, a traditional lace-up neckline and practical short sleeves.

The short sleeves and relaxed cut makes it easy for children to move, play and explore while the triskele embroidery adds a distinctive Celtic detail.

🍀 The Triskele, or Triskelion, is an ancient Irish triple-spiral symbol found at Newgrange, dating to around 3200 BC. Its original meaning is unknown, but it later became strongly associated with Celtic art and is often linked with ideas of connection, cycles and the threefold nature of life.

A characterful piece of Irish clothing for boys, combining folklore influence with a comfortable, wearable design.

🧵This has been designed by the designer and founder of Celtic Fusion; Regina Tierney. Her inspiration comes from her home place in County Clare in the West of Ireland where the Celtic Fusion Studio is based. Celtic Fusion was designed to create a connection to nature through unique clothing. The designs are inspired by Celtic spirituality and ancient paganism - beliefs centered around the natural world and the cycle of life. So, naturally, sustainability and ethics are a top priority in the construction of the clothing you purchase. We hope to create a new standard for the impact of fashion with our choice of fabrics, construction processes, and positive work practices. Our production would not be possible without our skilled team in India where Irish designer Regina Tierney works for 3 months of each year over-seeing our entire work process and production in every element to create our ethical designs.

Inspiración de diseño

🍀 The Triskele, or Triskelion, is one of Ireland’s most ancient and recognisable symbols. Triple-spiral designs appear at Newgrange, dating to around 3200 BC, long before Celtic culture developed in Ireland. Its original Neolithic meaning is unknown, but the motif was later closely associated with Celtic art and symbolism. The three spirals are often interpreted as representing interconnected ideas such as land, sea and sky, past, present and future, or life, death and rebirth.

Design Inspiration

🍀 Designed in the West of Ireland, Celtic Fusion creates folklore-inspired clothing shaped by culture, landscape and ancestral knowledge. Our designs draw from wild nature, traditional craft and the old stories of the land, bringing these influences into clothing that feels expressive, contemporary and made to be worn.

Natural textures, earthy colour, Celtic-inspired detailing and folk styles run throughout our collections, reflecting a strong sense of place. Each piece is created for those who value individuality, craftsmanship and a meaningful connection to the landscapes and stories that continue to inspire us.

Care Instruction

Cotton Slub and Handwoven Cotton Care Instructions

Our cotton fabrics are natural, breathable with a soft textured finish. Machine wash gently at 20°C or hand wash in cool water using a mild / natural detergent. Wash with similar colours and reshape while damp. Hang or lay flat to dry naturally. Do not tumble dry, as this may cause shrinkage and wear to the fibres. Line dry only out of direct sunlight. Iron on a medium setting.
