Woven with folkloric elegance, the Lir Wedding Dress draws from ancient Irish beauty to create something enduringly soulful. Crafted from delicate floral cotton lace layered over a soft breathable cotton, it features a beautifully structured bodice with a flattering V waist vertical satin ribbon channels that flatter and contour the waist in a corset-inspired silhouette.

The square neckline and wide straps frame the shoulders with clean elegance, while the gently flared skirt opens at the front to reveal a flowing cotton skirt underneath, allowing movement and layering to dance together. With its structured bodice and open-front skirt, this design evokes a folkloric elegance with a hint of old-world royalty. One of the most enchanting features of this dress is its light flowing chiffon detachable sleeves. They attach delicately with velcro at the upper arms allowing for two distinct looks in one gown offering you flexibility throughout your special day.

At the back, the bodice ties at the upper shoulders with a cotton cord decorated with small tassels at the end while dipping into a soft V-shaped neckline, creating a graceful look.

For the perfect fit, we recommend having small adjustments made by your trusted dress alterations business. This ensures your dress flatters your shape beautifully and feels truly your own. These dresses are designed so they can easily be altered.

🧵This has been designed by the designer and founder of Celtic Fusion; Regina Tierney. Her inspiration comes from her home place in County Clare in the West of Ireland where the Celtic Fusion Studio is based. Celtic Fusion was designed to create a connection to nature through unique clothing. The designs are inspired by Celtic spirituality and ancient paganism - beliefs centered around the natural world and the cycle of life. So, naturally, sustainability and ethics are a top priority in the construction of the clothing you purchase. We hope to create a new standard for the impact of fashion with our choice of fabrics, construction processes, and positive work practices. Our production would not be possible without our skilled team in India where Irish designer Regina Tierney works for 3 months of each year over-seeing our entire work process and production in every element to create our ethical designs.

Bridal Care Instructions

Our bridal pieces are delicate and should be handled with care. Store your gown hanging in a breathable garment bag in a cool, dry space away from direct sunlight. Steam gently on a low setting if needed, taking care around lace, trims, sleeves and delicate details. Spotwash with natural detergent such as Ecover for small cleaning. Handwash only in natural detergent. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, or bleach. If your gown needs alterations always work with a trusted seamstress.
